Monthly Arboretum Tour with Virginia-Highland Civic Association & Trees Atlanta
The tour, beginning and ending at the triangle at Virginia and North Highland Ave is conducted by 15 year Va-Hi resident and retired lawyer Jim Long on the first Saturday of every month from 10AM-12PM. It focuses on the importance of urban trees with an emphasis on the trees on the route together with a sprinkling of local history and architecture. Reservations are required through www.treesatlanta.org/calendar.
