While technically a West coast transplant, Katie has lived in Atlanta for the last 20 years and considers it home. She currently resides in Kirkwood, however, her first apartment and job out of college were in Virginia Highland, giving the community a special place in her heart.
As the event coordinator for VHDA, she lends her 15+ years of experience in hospitality and events to a variety of projects and initiatives including Porchfest, Food Truck Fridays, and Winterfest, as well as creating fun new ways to connect the local businesses to its residents.
